Fellowship Hall is a safe, welcoming and diverse community in a park-like setting in Bedford Hills, NY.

Our affordable housing complex consists of eight buildings, with 70 apartments occupied by low income seniors. Our residents enjoy Fellowship Hall’s beautiful grounds and open space. We are proud to have a friendly and supportive community where residents look out for each other. Our Superintendent lives on the Fellowship Hall premises, which provides additional comfort to our residents.

Fellowship Hall has a community room and outside patio where residents hold activities, such as bingo, poker and knitting. We also have summer cookouts and holiday parties in the community room and on the patio. In addition, our residents use the community room and patio for birthday parties and other celebrations. There is also a convenient laundry room located in our community building.

Fellowship Hall is in a wonderful location. It is close to local merchants, the Post Office and the Bedford Hills Train Station. As described in “Our Community”, Bedford Hills is part of the Town of Bedford, which holds many fun and interesting activities and events for seniors that are enjoyed by our residents. A bus providing transportation to these activities and events picks up our residents outside of our community building. In addition, a separate regularly scheduled public bus stops frequently at the bus stop in front of our complex.

“Fairchild Hall” serves as the office and community building in the complex.

All apartments are designed with comfort and safety in mind and include:

Cable TV/internet from Optimum available at resident’s expense

Area in front of apartment with space to plant flowers, vegetables or bushes. Residents must maintain this area if they plant there.

Fire and carbon monoxide detectors and alarms

Monthly Cost/Unit – $634
Electricity, water and heat included
One parking spot available for a fee of $8 per month
Air conditioner may be purchased and installed by resident for a fee of $15 per month
Because Fellowship Hall is a cooperative, all applicants must have adequate resources to make a one-time payment for the purchase of shares in Fellowship Hall (which currently is $2,120 for an Efficiency Apartment). That payment, less cleaning and painting expenses, is returned to the resident when the apartment is vacated.

Because Fellowship Hall is a cooperative, all applicants must have adequate resources to make payment for the purchase of shares in Fellowship Hall (which currently is $2,650 for a One Bedroom Lower Unit and $2,750 for a One Bedroom Upper Unit). That payment, less cleaning and painting expenses, is returned to the resident when the apartment is vacated.

Two Bedroom Apartment

Affordable:

Monthly Cost/Unit – $858
Electricity, water and heat included
One parking spot available for a fee of $8 per month. If a second parking spot is requested and an additional spot is or becomes available, a second spot may be obtained for a fee of an additional $8 per month.
Air Conditioner may be purchased and installed by resident for a fee of $15 per month.
Because Fellowship Hall is a cooperative, all applicants must have adequate resources to make payment for the purchase of shares in Fellowship Hall (which currently is $3,210 for a Two Bedroom Unit). That payment, less cleaning and painting expenses, is returned to the resident when the apartment is vacated.
